All Training Has To Begin With OBEDIENCE
Obedience training is the basis of everything you will ever do with your dog. Our basic obedience method was designed for dogs of any age and has been successfully applied by literally thousands of dogs owners in the area.
We have over 35 years of experience in teaching dog owners to train their own dogs. Whether your dog is a family pet, a dog specializing in hunting, herding, or showing in any type of competition, all training has to begin with obedience.

Gentle Puppy Obedience Training
You can train dogs of any age, however, we recommend taking advantage of the optimum opportunity for learning by starting your training as soon as possible. Puppies readily adapt to our positive training methods and learn more quickly than at any other time of their life.
Bringing your puppy to a puppy kindergarten class is the best decision you can make for your young puppy. The puppy classes are based on teaching by positive motivation. We use food and toys as positive reinforcement tools. As puppies of this age are in the motivational teaching phases of their training, no corrections are given. We use games and rewards to keep the puppies active and enthused.
You can start puppy training as early as 7 - 10 weeks of age
Socialization:
Statistics prove that dogs that are properly socialized and trained make better pets and are less likely to become aggressive later. In puppy training we focus on socialization, confidence building, instilling a willing attitude, addressing negative behavior issues, as well as shaping the temperament and future behavior. By keeping training sessions fun and interesting, your puppy will learn quickly and want to learn more.
Socialization is a process of introducing your puppy to new situations, new places, to other people and other dogs in a controlled environment. We shape the temperament and future behavior by teaching the puppy appropriate behavior in the presence of other dogs and other people.
Confidence Building:
We make use of various pieces of equipment to help puppies gain confidence. Other methods of building confidence include exposure to new places and situations, and teaching the owners to handle their puppies using a confident demeanor themselves. As the owners become more comfortable with their puppies and with the equipment and exercises we do, the puppies respond by developing a confident attitude.
Creating a "want to" or willing attitude:
Building rapport with your puppy is accomplished by teaching the puppy to play with you and to have fun with you. There is no substitute for the time you spend with your puppy. Teaching your puppy some "fun" things to do with you, will also help steer the puppy away from developing negative behaviors on its own.
Introduction to Gentle Obedience:
Puppies are not capable of long periods of concentration or precision in their obedience exercises, but they can become surprisingly proficient in their performance by using little teaching games to gently introduce the basics of obedience, such as sit, stay, down, and come when called.
